Your act just doesn’t seem to be working. Don’t leave it to chance; get the reaction you want by workshopping your routine with a supportive, positive mentor. A fresh pair of eyes will review your act from top to bottom and together you’ll look at your material, delivery, body language, and attitude. Barry will not be trying to change you or your routine into something foreign; he’ll coach you into finding your own comic voice, your own way of connecting with the audience, your own comfort zone. This workshop provides a safe place for you to experiment with new techniques without fear of failing or ridicule. So join us to find the funny and leave with a stronger, more successful bit. If your act is working and you just want to try out new material, you DON’T need this workshop. Prerequisites: 5 years of stand-up comedy experience, 6 minutes of material, and the desire to work hard to be funny.

It's A Wrap!

ID:37375
Art anyone can make. You won’t believe your eyes! Even if you don’t think you have artistic talent, you’ll make beautiful art that can be clothes, handbags, jewelry, pillows, table cloths, upholstery, lamp shades, book illustrations, wrapping paper, and more! Fabric is very forgiving and textile art can be done easily in the kitchen or on the balcony because it dries fast. Even if the result is a surprise, it will be beautiful—and the process can be very therapeutic. Plus some of RoseMary’s students began selling their work almost immediately using RoseMary’s tips. You will take home several silk scarves each week. Have a blast mixing and matching all the techniques you’ve learned as you create one final masterpiece! You’ll get to satisfy all your creativity with a hands-on project of your choice, limited only by your imagination. And since many of RoseMary’s students have gone on to sell their art, the last half hour will be devoted to how and where to sell, pricing, and marketing. Students who want to earn a Textile Design certificate will complete a special project.  *$20 material fee due at registration. They’re inexpensive and easy to make from cuttings—and as they grow, they can be divided to create additional arrangements for your office, home, or patio. They also make great gifts that keep on giving!  The variety of shapes, colors and textures makes for unusual and interesting arrangements, and require minimal water. In this hands-on class, you’ll design your own living arrangement to take home and enjoy.
