The goal of mindful movement is to move your body while placing your attention and focus on really noticing and feeling what your body does throughout those movements. Our supportive, easy-going class teaches you simple exercises and yoga-like movements, tailored to individual physical needs and abilities, as well as how you’re doing that particular week. Benefits include better balance and coordination, increased ability to deal with stress, and better sleep. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or towel. Eat no more than a light snack in the 2 hours before class.
