CourseGraphic Web development is one of the fastest growing careers in today’s economy with a projected 27% growth rate by 2024, as projected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But is a coding career right for you? Before spending time and money on a college program or coding bootcamp, get your feet wet with this introductory course in front-end web design. Learn the basics of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, and discover how the interactivity of JS, JQ, and HTML/CSS work together to bring life and functionality to your page. At the end of class, you’ll have created a fully functioning web page, and taken your first step into a much larger world. Bring a laptop or Mac with power cord with you to class. Laptop should have at least 5gb of RAM.  PC laptops must run Windows 7, 8, or 10 and should have Visual Studio Code installed. It can be downloaded for free at https://code.visualstudio.com/.
