"Every good business has a non-profit sister. There's a synergy; they feed each other."
                                                                                   - Gerald Anderson, Instructor, MBA

You can fill a void in your community - or in society as a whole - by forming and managing a nonprofit or community service organization. This course will provide you with a roadmap for turning your ideas into viable and valuable programs. You’ll explore how to define who your organization will help and craft an appropriate mission statement. Learn how to incorporate your organization, select a board of directors and write the bylaws. You’ll also get into the nuts and bolts of developing a budget, creating a marketing plan, obtaining tax-exempt status and fundraising options. $20 material fee, due at registration, for Gerald's comprehensive workbook. Receive the workbook access code upon registration. Print (recommended) or download on a personal device and bring to class.
