There’s also a magical make-believe component, with hundreds of different props and music from every corner of the world! Classes are offered every day, and meet once a week for 45 minutes. A new session starts the week of September 15, but students may join at any time for a prorated price of $20 per session. Call for dates and times.
Tots & Tutus (Ages 18-30 months)
This toddler class stimulates sight, touch and sound. Kids will begin to learn basic dance while using puppets, musical instruments, props, bubbles, body movement and gross motor skill development games. Parents will participate as well in this wildly interactive introduction to dance.
Ballet/Tap (Age 2 or 3-4)
Once a child has reached this age, classes begin to incorporate more elements of traditional ballet technique, challenging students both mentally and physically. They’ll be asked to wear appropriate ballet attire, including having their hair tied away from their face to create an environment free from distractions. This enables the students to feel like true dancers! They’ll develop strength, balance, coordination and flexibility—plus start learning proper body alignment, barre and center floor exercises.
Princess Series Ballet with Tap (ages 3-4 or 5-7)
This storybook dance class is based on dances from favorite fairy tales and ballet stories. Kids will explore elements of creative movement, ballet, tap, and jazz and learn to "tell a story with their body" in this delightful trip to enchanted kingdoms.
